Duplicate customers and merging
For: owner and manager, reception
Updated October 28, 2026
The same customer sometimes ends up in the list twice, e.g. once by phone and once by email. Lessora Auto checks for this when saving, and when a duplicate is already there a manager can merge the two records.
When saving
When you add a customer (quickly from the calendar too) and during imports we check the phone, email and NIP. If something matches, you get the warning This may be a customer you already have: with the matching people. Pick the existing customer or, if it really is someone else, click Save as a new customer anyway.
Merging
The owner and managers can merge.
- Open the page of the customer who stays and click Merge duplicates.
- In The other record choose the duplicate.
- For each field that differs, choose the value that is kept.
- Click Merge records and confirm.
Bookings, vehicles, waiting-list entries, consents, payments and the access history of the other record move to the customer who stays. Tags and no-shows add up. The other record is deleted.
Tip A merge can't be undone. If you aren't sure it's the same person, call the customer first.
