Online payments and payment links

For: owner and manager

Updated October 28, 2026

A customer can pay online through a link sent by text or email. The money goes straight to the workshop's own account with the payment provider.

Turning it on (owner only)

  1. Open Workshop settings → Online payments.
  2. Click the button that connects the payment provider and enter the company details there.
  3. Come back and click Check status. If details are missing, finish them with the provider using the button next to it.

Managers see the account's state, but only the owner can connect or disconnect it. Disconnect turns online payments off, and open links stop working.

Payment links

Links are sent from a booking in the Calendar: in the details of a booking with a price, click Send payment link, then Create payment link and Send to the customer or Copy link. A link has an expiry date. Check the status shows whether the customer has paid, and Cancel link closes it.

Jobs have no payment links: there you take cash, card or bank transfer.

Tip A payment for a booking isn't taken off the amount left to pay on the job. If the customer paid online, allow for it when handing the car back.

You refund an online payment like any other, and the money goes back to the customer automatically.
