Closures and public holidays

For: owner and manager

Updated October 28, 2026

Closures are holidays, renovations and other days when you don't take cars in. Nobody can book on these days.

Adding a closure

  1. Open Workshop settings → Closures.
  2. Enter the From and To dates and a Reason, e.g. renovation.
  3. To close the whole workshop, don't tick any bay. To close only some, tick them under Only these bays.
  4. Click Add closure.

Closing the whole workshop blocks every drop-off. Closing selected bays blocks only tyre bookings on those bays, e.g. while a machine is being serviced. Ordinary drop-offs carry on as usual.

If there are bookings on those days already, you decide what happens to them before saving. See the article Moving bookings off a closure day.

Public holidays

Under Public holidays tick the holidays when the workshop is closed and click Close on selected holidays. If one of those days has bookings, add it first as an ordinary closure so you can move or cancel them.

Removing

Remove closure makes those days bookable again. Bookings cancelled because of the closure don't come back.
