Services and categories

Services are what the workshop offers: an inspection, an oil change, a tyre swap, alignment. You choose them when booking a drop-off.
Adding a service
- Open Services in the menu and click Add service.
- Enter the Name and choose a Category.
- Set the Duration (from 5 minutes, in steps of 5), the Price and the VAT rate.
- Under Bay type choose where the service is done.
- If needed, pick a Colour.
- Click Save.
Tyre services
When a service has the Tyres bay type, its booking takes a tyre bay for the whole Duration instead of a half-hour drop-off window. Break after adds time on the bay after such a booking. For other services the duration doesn't affect the calendar: the car takes one place in a drop-off window.
Changes
A new price applies to new bookings; existing ones keep theirs. Mark a service you don't do for a while as unavailable (untick Offered) and archive one you no longer need with Archive.
Categories
On the Service categories page you group services, e.g. "Tyres" or "Oil service". Click Add category. When a category is deleted, its services stay without a category.
