Job settings: labour rate and markup

In Workshop settings → Jobs you set the labour rate and what mechanics see on jobs.

Labour

• Hourly labour rate (gross): suggests the price of labour lines on jobs and estimates. Enter the amount including VAT.
• VAT rate on labour: usually 23%.

Parts

• Parts markup (%): suggests a part's sale price from its purchase price. Leave it empty if you don't want a suggestion. You can always change the price by hand.

Mechanics

• Mechanics see prices: when it's off, a mechanic sees the work and parts on their jobs, but without amounts.

Click Save. New settings apply to new lines; lines already on jobs keep their prices.
