Tyre sets customers leave with you for the season: what sits on which rack and when to bring it out.

Storing a set

You store a set from the car's job. On the job page, in Tyres in storage, click Store tyres and enter:

• Season, Size (e.g. 205/55 R16) and, if you like, Brand,
• the Rack location, e.g. A-12,
• DOT (week and year from the sidewall, e.g. 3823) and Tread (mm) for each tyre; add a spare with Add spare,
• whether the set comes With rims, the date and a note.

If you enter a Storage fee, it goes on the job as an external line at 23% VAT. You can change that line like any other. A closed job can't take the fee any more.

The list and releasing

The Tyre hotel menu lists the sets on your racks: plate, customer, season, size and location. Search by plate or customer name; the filters show In storage or Released sets and the season. Click a set to see each tyre with its DOT and tread. Release set records who handed it back and when. Released sets stay as history.

Pick list

The Pick list shows the day's tyre bookings for cars with a set in storage, with the time and rack location. Print it in the morning so the tyres are waiting before the customer arrives.

A car's sets also show in its history on the customer page, and mechanics see them on the job.
