Drop-off calendar

The calendar shows when customers bring their cars in. A booking is only the drop-off time: who works on the car and on which bay is planned on the Board.

Day and week view

1. Open Calendar in the menu.
2. Choose Day or Week. The Previous and Next arrows move through time, Today returns to the current day.

The opening hours are split into half-hour windows. Each one shows how many more cars fit. A manager sets the number of cars per half hour in the booking rules. Closure days are marked Closed.

Tyre bays

Tyre swaps don't take a drop-off window. Every tyre bay has its own column in the calendar, and a tyre booking takes as much time on it as the service lasts.

Markers

Click Legend to see what the colours and markers mean, e.g. Overbooked or Customer details incomplete. Clicking a booking opens its details. On a phone the calendar is shown as a list.

Mechanics

Mechanics see the calendar read-only: they don't book, move or cancel. They find their work in My jobs.
