Moving bookings off a closure day
For: owner and manager
Updated October 28, 2026
When you add a closure on days that already have bookings, you decide what happens to them. The closure is saved together with that decision, in one step.
The plan for bookings
If the plan is on in your workshop, after choosing the days in Workshop settings → Closures you see a summary and a list of bookings. Each already has the best option chosen:
- Later, after the closure: the nearest half hour with room, up to 14 days after the closure.
- Same time, another bay: tyres only, when another tyre bay is free then. The customer isn't asked about a new time.
- Cancel and add to the waiting list: the booking is cancelled and the customer goes on the waiting list for 14 days.
Change a row's choice if needed and click Add closure. If someone takes a chosen time meanwhile, nothing is saved and the plan is worked out again for those bookings.
Without the plan you get a simple list: a tyre booking can move to another free tyre bay at the same time, the rest are cancelled.
The customer's answer
The customer gets a message about the move or the cancellation. When the time changed, the page behind the link asks whether it suits them: That works or Doesn't work, please call me. In the second case the front desk gets a notification and the booking stays at the new time until you change it. The answer is shown in the booking details.
